Role Overview:

Ekiva is seeking an experienced RF Planning & Optimisation Specialist to support LTE/5G network design, RF optimisation and performance improvement activities across multi-vendor wireless networks.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Perform RF planning and coverage analysis.
• Conduct:
  • Coverage planning
  • Capacity planning
  • Frequency planning
  • PCI planning
• Perform:
  • Link budget analysis
  • Propagation modelling
  • RF simulations
• Design and optimise:
  • Antenna configurations
  • Tilt
  • Azimuth
  • Coverage solutions
• Perform:
  • Drive testing
  • KPI analysis
  • Performance optimisation
• Analyse:
  • Coverage issues
  • Capacity challenges
  • Mobility performance
• Recommend network improvements.
• Support customer RF design reviews.
• Present RF findings and recommendations.
• Support technical discussions and solution proposals.
• Prepare professional RF reports.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years experience in RF Planning and Optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • LTE
  • 5G NR
  • RF propagation
  • Network optimisation
• Experience with:
  • Ericsson
  • Nokia
  • Samsung
  • Huawei
  • Open RAN
  • Equivalent RAN platforms
• Experience with:
  • RF planning tools
  • KPI analysis
  • Drive test tools
  • Coverage optimisation
• Understanding of:
  • Private 5G
  • Fixed Wireless Access
  • mmWave/ V Band networks
• Ability to engage with customers and engineering teams.
• Must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor visa applications.

• Full-time on site in Egham, ability to commute.
