Join Our Team as a E2E Integration, Test & Validation Lead

Role Overview:

Ekiva is looking for an E2E Integration, Test & Validation Lead to own the technical integration, testing and validation of complex 5G, telecom, enterprise and industrial network solutions.

The role will bring together multiple engineering domains and technology vendors to ensure the complete solution is integrated, interoperable, secure, performant and ready for deployment and customer acceptance.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end integration and validation strategy from requirements and design through deployment and acceptance.
• Coordinate integration across:
  • RAN / 5G NR
  • 4G/5G Core
  • IP/Transport
  • RF
  • Private 5G / Enterprise Networks
  • Open RAN
  • FWA
  • Cloud / Edge
  • AI/ML

  • Industrial/OT
  • Network Automation & Orchestration
• Lead multi-vendor and multi-domain integration activities.
• Define E2E integration scenarios, test cases, acceptance criteria and validation plans.
• Validate network interfaces, APIs, connectivity, service flows and interoperability.
• Lead functional, integration, performance, resilience and E2E testing.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, ATP, UAT and customer acceptance activities.
• Lead technical troubleshooting, defect investigation and root-cause analysis.
• Drive defects and integration issues through to technical closure.
• Manage test readiness, dependencies, environments and technical risks.
• Validate network performance, service quality, mobility, connectivity and system behaviour.
• Ensure test evidence, results and technical documentation are complete and traceable.
• Conduct technical readiness and deployment-readiness reviews.
• Support Proofs of Concept, demonstrations, field trials and R&D/innovation activities.
• Coordinate internal engineers, technology partners, vendors and customer technical teams.
• Work closely with Technical Project Leads, RAN, Core, IP, RF, Security, Software, DevOps, AI/ML, Edge, IoT and OT engineers.
• Support technical proposals, SoWs and solution validation approaches.
• Translate customer requirements into measurable integration and acceptance criteria.
• Support technical estimation and resource planning where required.
• Work with technology partners, engineering organisations and research teams.
• Contribute to R&D, trials and innovation projects involving emerging telecom technologies
• Support technical demonstrations, PoCs and acceptance meetings.

Technical & Testing Experience 

• Strong understanding of 4G/5G end-to-end network architecture with practical experience in several of:
  • RAN / 5G NR
  • 4G EPC / 5G Core
  • Private 5G
  • Enterprise Private Networks
  • Open RAN / O-RAN
  • IP / Transport
  • FWA / mmWave / V-band
  • Network slicing
  • Cloud-native telecom platforms

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years experience in Telecom Testing, Network Integration, Validation or Technical Assurance.
• Proven experience leading multi-vendor, multi-domain telecom integration.
• Strong understanding of RAN, Core and IP network dependencies.
• Experience developing integration and test strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capability.
• Experience with ATP, FAT, SAT, UAT and customer acceptance.
• Ability to understand complex technical architectures and convert them into practical integration and test scenarios.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong technical communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both commercial deployment and R&D/innovation environments.
• Must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor visa applications.

• Full-time on site in Egham, ability to commute.

Vendor & Customer Skills

• Experience working with multiple telecom/network technology vendors.
• Ericsson or other major vendor experience is valuable, but candidates with strong multi-vendor experience are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lead technical workshops with customers and partners.
• Ability to challenge technical issues and drive resolution with vendors.
