Join Our Team as a IP Transport & Network Integration Engineer

Role Overview:

Ekiva is looking for an experienced IP Transport & Network Integration Engineer responsible for designing, integrating and troubleshooting IP networks supporting RAN, Core Networks, Private 5G, Enterprise Networks and Fixed Wireless Access solutions.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in carrier-grade IP networking, routing, switching and telecom transport integration.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure and integrate IP transport networks.
  • Perform LAN/WAN integration activities.
  • Configure and troubleshoot:
    • VLAN
    • VRF
    • IP addressing
    • Routing protocols
    • Static routing
  • Configure and support:
    • OSPF
    • BGP
    • MPLS
    • VPN technologies
  • Support connectivity between:
    • RAN sites
    • Core Networks
    • Enterprise networks
    • Cloud platforms
  • Configure and validate:
    • DNS
    • DHCP
    • NTP
    • QoS policies
  • Coordinate firewall connectivity requirements.
  • Perform end-to-end network validation and troubleshooting.
  • Support network acceptance testing and operational handover.
  • Prepare network design documents and implementation reports.
  • Support technical discussions and solution workshops.
  • Translate customer connectivity requirements into network solutions.
  • Provide technical inputs for:
    • Network proposals
    • Deployment plans
    • Customer documentation

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years experience in IP Networking / Transport Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • TCP/IP networking
    • Routing and switching
    • MPLS
    • VPN
    • QoS
    • Network security fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Cisco
    • Juniper
    • Nokia
    • Huawei
    • Other carrier-grade networking platforms
  • Experience supporting:
    • Telecom transport networks
    • Mobile backhaul
    • Private 5G networks
    • Enterprise connectivity
  • Understanding of:
    • 4G/5G transport requirements
    • Network redundancy
    • High availability architectures
  • Ability to work with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor visa applications.
  • Full-time on site in Egham, ability to commute.
